Background
Dr. Huffman is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition at the Robert Stempel School of Public Health, Florida International University. In addition to her research on nutrition, obesity and cardiovascular health among minority populations, Dr. Huffman is a member of the American Society for Nutritional Sciences, Sigma Xi – the Scientific Research Society of North America (USA), the American Dietetic Association and the Florida Dietetic Association and serves as a member of the Institutional Review Board of Florida International University.
