Background
Dr. Lee is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Miami and is on the faculty of the Stempel School of Public Health at Florida International University. He is a chronic disease epidemiologist who has served as Principal and Co-Investigator on seven NIH grants focusing on the analysis of nationally representative datasets, such as the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS). Dr Lee's research using these datasets has been published in a range of journals including, the American Journal of Public Health, the American Journal of Epidemiology, and the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. His research has a strong health disparities focus, particularly in terms of health differences within the US workforce. Dr Lee's current research portfolio includes grants from the National Eye Institute, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, the Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute and the James & Ester King Biomedical Research Foundation.
